The Digital Environment Home Energy Management System (DEHEMS) project aims to improve the current monitoring approach to levels of energy being used by households, with an overall aim of reducing CO2 emissions across Europe. The project is supported by the EU under Framework Programme 7.
The DEHEMS Dashboard enables all users to view their home energy consumption live. Every six seconds readings are taken via the energy monitor in your home providing a unique insight into how exactly your energy is used.
The aim of DEHEMS is to provide the tools necessary for efficient energy usage. Not only can you view your own homes data but also compare against other DEHEMS users. This should highlight potential energy wasting items in your home that could be replaced with more energy efficient ones, saving energy and therefore money in the long run.
